Claude Costy and Pascal Hausermann are both graduates of the School of Architecture of the University of Geneva. From 1962 to 1971 they worked together on different projects of individual houses. They study and experiment with prefabricated housing cells and also use their techniques and ideas to carry out ambitious projects such as a music conservatory in Lausanne, Patrick Antoine’s mobile theater or a motel in Raon l’étape. For all these projects, the two architects share the same ideas: Building in a more economical way, integrating the habitat with nature and giving the customer the possibility of building his own house thanks to the concrete veil, a technique that allows A great freedom of conception and creation.
